the lake of Como and its triangle

I have been living in the province of Como for 30 years, having shared it with Milan for 18 years, I own a villa in the Como triangle and an apartment in a nearby city where I spend nine months a year and I move to the villa only in the summer and now the I will share with the newly purchased apartment in Trieste. The Larian triangle has Bellagio to the north, Como to the west and Lecco to the east as its vertices, I live between Como and Lecco and in center of the triangle. It is a very beautiful and green area with many green mountains and many lakes because in addition to the famous lake of Como there are also the lakes of Alserio, Pusiano, Montorfano and Segrino. The latter is the lake that I frequent most in the summer, in my opinion the most beautiful, its name derives from the German SEEGRUEN which means green lake and in fact it is surrounded by green mountains and its waters are green, it is a park surrounded by a 5 km long cycle and pedestrian path and is a destination for many Milanese outings. From here passes the Lambro or Lambrone river which ends in Milan and beyond passing through the nearby lake of Pusiano. I live between Como, Lecco and Bellagio and 35 km north from Milan, reachable with the Ferrovie Nord line in an hour's journey. The air is good, the city is quiet and offers all the services even if life here is a bit boring compared to Milan which undoubtedly offers much more but is also more messy with traffic and with the air full of smog, for these reasons I moved north. Many visitors to Milan take another Ferrovie Nord train and reach the beautiful city of Como which is an ancient, partly walled and pedestrian city with a beautiful lakeside promenade, many nearby villas such as that of Este in Cernobbio, home to international conferences and congresses. On the side live famous people such as George Clooney in Laglio and from Como you can reach Bellagio by car along the eastern road or you arrive in Menaggio along the Regina road on the western coast. Both can also be reached by "vaporetto" ferryboat which leaves from Como and can reach the northernmost point of Colico. There are various towns with beaches, villas, parks and even the Comacina island. On the other side Lecco placed between high mountains and the lake, perhaps less beautiful than Como, but not bad and from there you can reach various interesting destinations; the Valsassina (a mountainous valley) or further you can reach Bormio and Valtellina (summer and winter resort where part of nex winter Olimpia games in 2026 will take place)from Lecco by road you can reach the beautiful Varenna, right in front of Bellagio which on the other side has Menaggio, the three gems of the lake. You can go trekking on both sides of the lake at the same level of the lake or up in the mountains which host welcoming refuges where you can eat well. Near Lecco there is a cableway that takes you up to the Erta plains and from there you can climb to the top of Grignetta, a beautiful mountain that some compare to the Duomo of Milan for its many spiers and pinnacles or you can opt for the nearby Valsassina with its villages and mountains. Beautiful towns, valleys, mountains, lakes what you want more? All the world come here from centuries, there must be a reason! And many come to celebrate their marriage even from India and US.
