50 years travelling around the world

My first travel was in Venice from Trieste my home city and then Greece in 1967 a travel offered me from my school as I was good student in that occasion, coming back from southern Italy, I visited Rome, Florence, Republic of San Marino, Rimini and Verona The following years Paris and Vienna but also many other Austrian cities in 1969. Pause for the military service from January 1970 to April 1971 and then I visited London in 1972 and again in 1973 plus Munich, a long travel by car from Trieste to Amsterdam via Munich, Cologne, Paris, Brussel, Amsterdam, Lyon, the French Riviera (Cannes, Monaco, Nice, etc...) and Italian riviera (Liguria) IN 1974 then eight years of holiday in Istria and Dalmatia, Croatia when I visited all the coasts and the towns of Istria peninsula and cities, Dalmatian coast and islands upto Albania In 1982 I started the first great travel abroas,a six weeks travel coast to coast by Greyhound in US from New York to Los Angeles via Washington D.C.Knoxville (for Expo), Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, Flagstaff, Gran Canyon, Phoenix, Yosemite N.P., San Francisco, the Pacific Coast to L.A. and San Diego coming back to N.Y. by air. In 1983 five weeks through China from Hong Kong to Canton,Hanzhou, Guilin, Suzhou, Shangai,Xian and Peking. In the same year Egypt from Cairo to Assuan along the Nile river but by bus not boat. In 1990 again in US a two weeks holiday through the National Parks of California and Arizona and again San Francisco, the Pacific Coast and L.A. In 1990 a journey to Indonesia, Giava, Bali and Lombok and my first visit of Thailand, Bangkok, Chang May and Chang Rai, then to Pukhet island. In the eighties various journeys to Mexico and Guatemala, South America, one month from Lima, Peru via Bolivia, Chile, Argentina ending in Rio de Janeiro, Then a journey to Brasil with Brasil air pass from Rio to Bahia, Recife-Olinda, Belem, Manaus, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Paraty, Rio. Tanzania through the national parks and to Kilimanjaro mountain ending to Mafia island. Six journey to Tunisia, one to Algeria in the southern Hoggar Tassili by jeep in the rocky desert. Morocco by bus through the imperial cities to the wild and desert south. In 1986 in Turkey and Jordan when I met the mother of my daughter and the next year again to Turkey, central, southern and eastern till the Iranian border. Three weeks through Nepal, Sri-Lanka and the Maldive island then northern and central India from Rajasthan to Bombay, Goa, New Delhi, Agra, Kajuraho, Varanasi. Pause from 1990 to 2000 from far away trips in order to stay with my dauugheter( born in 1990) and her mother in Italy and Mediterreanean islands 5 trips in Cuba between 2001 and 2003 trip in Florida in 2001 together with my daughter and her mother trip in Myanmar or Burma in 2004 trip in Cambodia and Laos in 2005 trip in Vietnam in 2006 I retired in 2007 and was busy with restoration of my houses for about three years anyway from 2009 to 2010 I made several short trips in Spain and Portugal, Romania,Bulgaria,Poland and Berlin Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Croatia in the Balkans (Serbia, Boznia Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, North Makedonia and northern Greece) in 2010-11 a six months travel in Thailand,Malaysia, the Philippines and finally another sixth months travel in Thailand, India,Singapor and Malaysia I travelled alone, in couple and in groups. mostly alone especially from 2001

Hi, i' m 73 years old and I've been travelling for 57 years, visiting around 70 countries. The first journey to Greece when I was 17 and the last in 2015, during a six months journey in South East Asia (Thailand, Malesia, Singapore) and India. Four years before another six months journey in Thailand, Malesia and the Philippines. In the previous years five journes to Eastern Europe from the Baltic Republics to Greece through Poland, Germany, Cech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Makedonia. in 2001 Florida, then 5 journeys to Cuba and various to South East Asia (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) From 1957 to Europe (London, Paris, Spain, French Coast, Munich, from Trieste to Amsterdam via Salzburg, Munich, Cologne, Bruxelles, den Haag, Rotterdam), before to Vienna and most all of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia, Ireland.
