2010-11 a six months trip to THAILAND-Malaysia and Philippines-first part -j revisited by heart after 12 years

the first of my two long six-month trips to Asia, the first at the turn of 2010-11 with arrival in Bangkok and almost immediate departure for the islands, first Pukhet whom I already knew and whom I saw again with pleasure, driving around to get to know all the its beautiful beaches, then the wonderful Phi Phi Island with its incomparable beaches and its parties, followed by the quieter Koh Lanta with a more sober nature and suitable for families, then the small Koh Lipe with its crystalline and blue waters with a village that divides the two beaches of north and south returning from Malaysia I visited three other Thai islands in the southwest: Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao in the first I went around the island with Italian friends met on the beach including Infinita, a Calabrian girl for whom I lost my head, unfortunately I was not reciprocated but I spent beautiful days with her, evenings at restaurants and bars on the beach. then in Koh Phangan I attended the famous Full Moon party of which I speak in another post while in the beautiful Koh Tao I took a boat trip visiting the most beautiful places and a small island connected by a white sand isthmus to the land.

I took about 1,200 photos and will post the best ones as soon as I can. The smallest cities are the most beautiful and all have beautiful historic centers. The castles, despite their different architecture, are similar inside and out. They have beautiful solid wood and inlaid furniture, canopy beds, separate bedrooms for the couple, numerous fireplaces, and enormous colorful tapestries that warmed the cold rooms. I've never seen a bathroom; it's said that Louis XIV bathed twice in his entire life. They used lace to cleanse their mouths, and when they smelled too bad, they anointed themselves with perfume; that's why they became masters in this field. Unfortunately, I no longer see the beautiful, elegant women I remember from my first distant travels. Even though they wear skirts more than Italians, they mostly wear baggy, shapeless jeans. AFRICA TOP TEN large and medium sized cities, arcaeological sites, unique beauties

I have only visited five countries in Africa: Egypt twice (once the archaeological sites from Giza to Aswan) and the other around Sharm el Sheik then six trips mainly seaside but with several excursions and one itinerant in Tunisia, one in Algiers and a nearby historic location and then with the plane I fly to Tamanrasset to go around the Hoggar Tassili in a 4x4 jeep, one itinerant as a couple along all of Morocco and a group trip through the national parks of Tanzania, climbing up to 3,000 meters of Kilimanjaro and final week-long holiday on Mafia Island.
