MALARIA A BAD ILLNESS

I don't want to replace the doctor who will probably advise you to take antimalarial prophylaxis before departure, continue it during the trip and also for several weeks after the return. The problem is that the recommended medicines have various harmful side effects, unless I think of MALARONE which, however, costs a lot, years ago there was one euro per pill, for a two-week trip it would cost around 75 euros since it must also be taken before and after. But how do the locals behave? other than as advised by our doctors, otherwise their kidneys, livers and pancreases would be smashed. They take a double or triple serving of pills when they have symptoms of the disease and are able to stop it in the beginning. They also pay attention by surrounding the bed with mosquito nets, light the fumes and cover themselves in the evening with sleeves, long trousers and stockings. Instead, many tourists do not take any measures and stay half-naked even until dawn, except then catch malaria, dengue which is hemorrhagic and deadly and deadly encephalitic. It is better to inquire first because the anopheles mosquito is much more widespread than is generally thought even in unsuspecting countries, for example in Cuba, South America and South East Asia as well as half of sub-Saharan Africa.
