1988 MOROCCO a trip revisited by heart 25 years later

it was a couple trip with my ex partner, traveled by public transport from Casablanca, the almost western metropolis passing through the imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fes and Marrakech and then heading towards the wildest Morocco in the south made up of small towns ( Erfoud, Ourzazate, Rissani), markets, mosques and even sand dunes (near Zagora) the landscape is beautiful because there is the red of the earth and of the houses and castles made of pressed earth and the green of the palm trees and oases, there are gorges and waterfalls, in short, a characteristic and typical landscape of Morocco the imperial cities have in common the medinas and the bazaars, the workshops of the artisans, but they diverge in style, Rabat which is the capital is more dedicated to the royal house with the mausoleum of the old king, Meknes shows its imposing walls, Fes is more elegant and artistic while Marrakech is the most popular with the large square that in the evening becomes a large open-air re...
